Vote Yes on G!

Protect Hayward students from deep and devastating school budget cuts!

Hayward schools are facing millions in budget cuts due to reduced funding from the federal Department of Education and unstable state funding that only supports a very basic education.

Voting Yes on G won’t prevent all the cuts, but it will prevent the most devastating cuts that threaten critical support for all students, including those with special needs.

Specifically, Measure G will:

● Support programs that help students learn to read, write and improve math skills

● Sustain strong academic programs in reading, writing, math, art, and science

● Attract and retain highly qualified teachers and staff and minimize layoffs

● Preserve literacy programs that help students learn to read

● Keep high school students engaged in their education, prevent dropouts and help students compete for college and good jobs

Measure G will keep good teachers in local classrooms and protect proven student support programs that help local students succeed.

Protecting our students and keeping our schools strong, makes Hayward strong.
